Studied for controlling studio recordings, the Andante Master Control Type 64 equip from 1980 the studios of Radio France (France-Inter, RFI and FIP), in which it will operate almost 24/24 until 2005. It will then be replaced by the Genelec 1032.

The "Radio France model" is known for being equipped with an XLR for modulation, whose assembly is like : pin 1 for negative ; pin 3 for positive.

The TéléDiffusion de France (TDF) will also be equipped with the Andante Master Control in the 80s.
